What's the minimum engagement size?
Most retainers start at one quarter. They're scoped around a clear goal: a move to a new platform, a big theme rework, or a Plus replatform. Review and strategy work is smaller and runs two weeks.
How does a Shopify retainer actually work?
You get a dedicated team each month. Engineering, testing, and project hours go toward a roadmap we plan together. Work runs in 2-week sprints with weekly updates and a monthly report. Unused hours roll forward up to a cap.
Do you work with Shopify Plus only?
No. We work across Online Store 2.0 themes, Plus, and headless builds. Most of our retainer clients are on Plus because that's where the volume and complexity sit.
Can you migrate us from Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce?
Yes. Moving to Shopify Plus is one of our most common projects. We handle data moves, URL and SEO mapping, redirects, and parallel testing so traffic and sales don't drop at launch.
How do you run engagements (communication and QA)?
We work via Slack or your tool of choice, with weekly written updates and a monthly report. Every change goes through a Shopify test list (theme, checkout, accounts, speed) and tech-lead review before it goes live.
